Theofficial trailer and key art for new adult animated comedy series Velma, featuring Mindy Kaling, has been released ahead of its debut today (12 January) on BINGE, with new episodes dropping every Thursday.
Velma tells the origin story of Velma Dinkley (Kaling), the unsung and underappreciated brains of the Scooby-Doo Mystery Inc. gang. The ten-episode series is an original and humorous spin that unmasks the complex and colourful past of one of America’s most beloved mystery solvers.
Joining Kaling in the Mystery Machine is Constance Wu as Daphne, Glenn Howerton as Fred and Sam Richardson as Shaggy.
Velma is produced by Warner Bros. Animation. Mindy Kaling, Charlie Grandy, Howard Klein and Sam Register serve as executive producers.Â
