Its quarter final time on Day 9 of the 2023 Australian Open as Stefanos Tsitsipas, Jessica Pegula, Victoria Azarenka and Sebastian Korda bring the business end of the competition to life on Channel 9HD and 9Now.
In the night session from 7.00pm, the Greek God Stefanos Tsitsipas who has conquered all before him so far, will be looking to take the momentum he has built in Melbourne into his first finals match up against the Czech Republic’s Jiri Lehecka.
American world No.3 Jessica Pegula faces a resurgent Victoria Azarenka, who is looking to claim a big scalp as she aims to add to her tally of eight Grand Slam victories
In the day session emerging American star Sebastian Korda takes on Karen Khachanov in an interesting match up where both players look to cement themselves as serious Grand Slam threats for years to come.
Also featuring in today’s quarter finals match ups is reigning Wimbledon champion Elena Rybakina who will go head-to-head with Latvia’s Jelena Ostapenko.
Australian mixed doubles duo Lizette Cabrera and John-Patrick Smith begin Day 9 coverage from 11.00am as they look to progress into the semi-final stage of the competition.
On Channel 9HD, the coverage is hosted by James Bracey, Roz Kelly and Tony Jones, while over on 9Gem is Nick McArdle, Emma Lawrence and Seb Costello.
