Postcards on Channel 9 – Join the Postcards team this week as they continue exploring Melbourne’s best theatre shows and places to dine out, Sunday at 5.30pm on Channel 9 and 9Now.
Livinia Nixon takes a scenic bus tour of Hobsons Bay (Boonwurrung Country). First stop is the Williamstown Botanic Garden, then onto Newport Lakes before a bite at the Tik Tok Cafe. Last stop is Truganina Parklands.
Brodie Harper is in the CBD (Wurundjeri Woi Wurrung Country) meeting the cast of Rocky Horror that has returned to Melbourne at the Athenaeum Theatre. After giving viewers a behind-the-scenes tour of the musical, she heads to Black Kite Commune for a cocktail.
Meanwhile, Madeline Spark uncovers some local favourites in Coburg and Pascoe Vale South (Wurundjeri Woi Wurrung Country).
After enjoying a coffee and some moreish baked foods at O’Heas Bakery, she heads a few blocks away to the Two Franks general store and cafe, before stopping at the nearby Fabiano furniture shop. She winds up at Shop 225 with a pizza.
And Kris Smith shows us through the BBC Earth Experience exhibition at the Melbourne Convention and Exhibition Centre (Wurundjeri Woi Wurrung Country). But before that, he heads to South Wharf for something to eat at The Boatbuilders Yard.
