Nine and Stan are set to lose thousands of hours of content after NBCU struck separate deals with Seven and Foxtel for multi year agreements for content.
Reality content, such as The Real Housewives franchise will slowly move away from Nine and Stan as licensing agreements expire, with the Nine Network set to keep its dramas they have started showing under ‘life of series’ provisions. These would include such series as The Equalizer, Law & Order: Organized Crime and New Amsterdam.
The back catalogue of NBC shows will move from Nine/Stan to Seven and Foxtel.
An announcement about the Foxtel/NBCU deal is imminent.
