NFL on ESPN – ESPN brings another six games live in Week Two NFL action, headlined by the red-hot Dallas Cowboys meeting the New York Jets and Philadelphia Eagles tackling the Minnesota Vikings.

The Week Two coverage of NFL on ESPN begins on Friday September 15 at 10.15am AEST when the Philadelphia Eagles meets Minnesota live on ESPN.

Philadelphia opened their campaign with a tight 25-20 win over New England. A 16-point opening quarter inspired the Eagles, and they held on amid a Patriots fightback.

Meanwhile the Vikings were edged by the Buccaneers in a thrilling season opener, with a field goal splitting the two sides.

Kirk Cousins did his best to pull the Vikings over the line, throwing for 344 yards and two touchdowns.

The NFL action heats up on Monday September 19, with four live NFL games across ESPN, ESPN2 and seven hours of live NFL RedZone coverage on the ESPN App*.

First up at 3am AEST live on ESPN, the Cincinnati Bengals clash with the Baltimore Ravens in an AFC North Conference.

The Bengals could not get firing in the opening round, having to wait until the third quarter to register their only points – a field goal.

The 24-3 defeat to the Browns was not the ideal start in the race for the AFC North, and the highly fancied Baltimore Ravens are next.

Baltimore are the favourites to claim the conference and for some the entire AFC division.

The Ravens kickstarted the new season in style, downing the Texans 25-9 and will start favourites on Monday morning.

Also, at 3am AEST on ESPN2, the Tennessee Titans go up against the Los Angeles Chargers.

Two sides who came excruciatingly close to wins in Week One, with victory literally slipping through their fingers.

The Titans fell 16-15 to New Orleans, whilst the Chargers were edged in a thrilling 36-34 loss to Miami.

Giving up 36 points will set some alarms ringing in Los Angeles, and the defence must aim up on the road in Nashville.

The blockbuster clash of Monday comes live at 6.25am AEST on ESPN, when the Dallas Cowboys face the New York Jets.

Dallas and the New York Jets stole the headlines in the opening week of the new season, but for very different reasons.

The Cowboys were the story of Week One, with a dominant 40-0 destruction of the New York Giants.

Dak Prescott was back to his best pulling the offensive strings and Tony Pollard chimed in with two touchdowns in the rout.

It was a very different story in New York, as high-profile recruit Aaron Rodgers saw only two snaps on debut before limping off Met Life Stadium with a season ending achilles injury.

After trailing all game against the Bills, a 10-3 final quarter pushed the game into overtime – where Xavier Gibson scored a walk off touchdown to hand the Jets the win.

Just when it looked like the Jets were cursed, a win over AFC East rivals Buffalo gives a glimpse of good times ahead.

Finally at 10.15am AEST, the New England Patriots collide with the Miami Dolphins.

New England will be back at Gillette Stadium for the second consecutive week, and this time they will hope fortunes are different.

The Patriots gave up 16 first quarter points to the Eagles and just could not cut it back, dropping the opener 25-20.

Mac Jones season opening performance will fill Pats fans will confidence. 316 yards and three touchdown passes is a handy night out for the 25-year-old, but ultimately wins will be what matters most at the end of the 2023-24 NFL season.

Miami held on to take a first up win against the Chargers, with the arm of their own QB, Tua Tagovailoa proving the difference.

The Dolphins star threw for 466 yards and three touchdowns, for one of his most impressive showings in a Miami jersey, clinching a 36-34 victory.

Rounding out the NFL schedule on Tuesday September 19 at 10.15am AEST, the Pittsburgh Steelers meet the Cleveland Browns.

Pittsburgh just never got going in Week One, convincingly beaten 30-7 by the 49ers. The defence failed to make an impact in their first hit-out of the season, and the Steelers will want to respond quickly against their AFC North rivals.

It was a very different story for the Browns, who took a big win over the Bengals.

The rushing yards of Nick Chubb complemented the tidy work of DeShaun Watson in the slick display.

Big stakes already in the opening fortnight in the conference, with Cleveland eyeing back-to-back wins against AFC North foes.

Also for the 2023-24 NFL Season, ESPN has taken SC: NFL Blitz to a new level.

Herm Edwards will join the team as the expert NFL analyst on NFL Monday’s and Mike Tannenbaum will dissect the NFL action on Friday’s Blitz.
