Football In June

ALL MONTH LONG ACTION-PACKED FOOTBALL

It’s a double header of Finals in the first weekend of June, highlighting the football action live on Paramount+ this month.

On Saturday, 3 June, after 162 matches, 12 teams, and eight months, the Isuzu UTE A-League Grand Final is here. It’s down to Premiers Melbourne City and the Central Coast Mariners to battle it out to become the 2022/23 Isuzu UTE A-League Champions.

Then internationally, the Final in the world’s oldest and most prestigious knockout tournament sees English heavyweight Manchester United take on cross town rivals Manchester City for the first time ever in an Emirates FA Cup Final. With coverage from 11.00pm AEST immediately following the A-League Men’s final.

Later in the month, on Thursday June 15, the Subway Socceroos will take on FIFA World Cup 2022 winners Argentina, in China.

After going down in the round of 16 to the South American powerhouse at last year’s World Cup, can the Subway Socceroos redeem themselves against Messi’s Argentina side?

Nickelodeon’s original iCarly series ran from 2007-2012 and followed a group of best friends as they created a webcast for and about kids their age while grappling with everyday problems and adventures.

The 76th Annual Tony Awards

Hosted by Ariana DeBose at the United Palace in New York City, The 76th Annual Tony Awards will be available on demand on Paramount+.

For the first time, the Tony Awards will be presented at the historic United Palace.

The history of the United Palace begins in 1930 when it opened as one of five Loew’s “Wonder Theatres,” premiere vaudeville and movie houses located in four boroughs and New Jersey. With nearly 3,400 seats the United Palace is Manhattan’s fourth largest theatre, and hosts concerts, movie premieres, film shoots, and other events.

The United Palace serves the Washington Heights community by showcasing the performing and visual art of local artists, many of them school children, and housing the non-profit Northern Manhattan Arts Alliance.

Bruce Springsteen & The E Street Band: Live In New York City concert film, featuring the first ever major televised Bruce Springsteen concert. It was later released on DVD with eleven extra songs not televised, and as a CD of the same name.

Bruce Springsteen & The E Street Band: The Legendary 1979 No Nukes Concert is a live album and concert film. It was recorded over two nights, September 21 and 22, 1979, at Madison Square Garden, as part of the No Nukes concerts organized by activist group Musicians United for Safe Energy (MUSE) against the use of nuclear energy.
