A different kind of dating show is upon us – Nine’s My Mum Your Dad.
John Walsh – Network Executive Producer joins TV Central for a One on One podcast to discuss this Australian first format. This is not John’s first rodeo, having worked on shows like Married at First Sight, The Voice, Beauty and the Geek and Australia’s Got Talent.

Info on John Walsh
John has been the Executive Producer or Network EP on some of Australia’s biggest titles including Married At First Sight, The Voice, Beauty and The Geek, Australia’s Got Talent, The Hundred, Hay Mate, Good Food Christmas and Christmas With Delta Goodrem, My Mum Your Dad and Love Triangle for Stan. In 2020 he was Executive Producer of the historic Music From The Home Front concert honouring Anzac Day and the efforts of Covid frontline workers. He has also been the Executive Producer of Getaway for the past 23 seasons.
John was appointed Network EP of MAFS when the series was super-sized in 2016, a role he has continued for seven seasons.
He wrote and produced a three-series adaptation of National Geographic’s Amazing 80s, 90s and Noughties for Channel 9 which featured interviews with some of the most prominent Australians of the past 40 years from prime ministers to Paul Hogan and Lindy Chamberlain.
Prior to joining Nine, John was an Executive Producer in News & Current Affairs at SBS where he was a Walkley Award Finalist for his work on the ground breaking series Face The Press.
He started his career in the media as a journalist with News Ltd.
