When the geriatric ward in a small Yorkshire hospital is threatened with closure, it fights back by galvanising the local community. The hospital invites a news crew to film the preparations for a concert honouring its most distinguished nurse.
Starring Jennifer Saunders, Judi Dench, Russell Tovey and David Bradley, Allelujah is a British drama film directed by Richard Eyre and written by Heidi Thomas. It is based on Alan Bennett’s play of the same name.

The Changemakers, will feature the stories of eight everyday people fighting for a better world.
Each episode of the documentary series will feature a different compelling storyline of people facing challenges in specific locations across the globe, from Black mothers in the United States fighting the life-threatening effects of systemic racism, to Indigenous people in Ecuador strategising to protect their land from deforestation.
Grassroots activists will work to bring global attention to their specific campaigns, with the help of a panel of “super-activists”, who each have extensive experience in advocating for change.
The series has been produced for Paramount as part of Content for Change, the company’s global initiative that aims to counteract racism, bias, stereotypes, and hate on and off-screen through three pillars, one of which is focused on systemically
transforming the creative supply chain.
