The disgraced British politician who faked his own death and fled to Melbourne

Matthew MacFadyen (Succession, Pride and Prejudice) stars in this three-part drama, based on the true

extraordinary rise and fall of MP John Stonehouse. As a high-flying member of Harold Wilson’s Labour government and a seemingly devoted family man, Stonehouse’s picture perfect life gets out of control in the early 1970s amid rumours of fraud and espionage.

This fascinating true story documents how the infamous politician faked his own death, leaving behind his loving wife and children. Also starring Keeley Hawes (The Durrells, Spooks) and Kevin McNally (Doctor Who, Pirates of the Caribbean).

Ben Miller as Professor T returns after the huge success of season one

Professor Jasper Tempest, a genius Cambridge University criminologist with OCD and an overbearing mother, returns to Britbox to assist police with mysterious criminal cases. The dark comedy crime series keeps viewers on the edge of their seat as puzzling crimes are uncovered while also delving into the professor’s deeply troubled childhood.

Audiences are invited to explore the quirks of Ben Miller (Death In Paradise, Bridgerton), Frances de la Tour (The History Boys, Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire) and Emma Naomi (The Trial of Christine Keeler, Bridgerton).

As Compston and McHugh wander off the beaten track, they reveal the endearing qualities of contemporary Scotland with guest appearances from unique locals and famous friends.

A comedic insight into dysfunctional family life created by comedian Tom Basden

Through his camera, Sam Jessop documents his family’s highs and lows as they navigate life’s everyday challenges. Although nothing ever quite goes to plan for the Jessops, their indomitable spirit sees them find moments of unexpected delight despite disappointment and disaster.

The relatable comedy stars Alison Steedman (Gavin and Stacey, Pride and Prejudice, Hold the Sunset), Tom Basden (W1A, The Wrong Mans), and Jim Howick (Ghosts, Broadchurch).

This hilarious insight into family dysfunction received a 5-star rating from the Telegraph UK for being a “comic masterpiece.”
