It’s a Big Big World on PBS Kids launches this week

It’s a Big Big World on PBS Kids – The brand new series, It’s A Big Big World, launching weekdays at 4pm from Tuesday May 16

Created by Mitchell Kriegman, creator of Bear in The Big Blue House and Clarissa Explains It All, the show features entertaining and educational songs to draw kids into key learning moments and discover the exciting world of science.

WHY WE LOVE IT:

  • IT’S A BIG BIG WORLD also encourages kids to get off their seats and onto their feet, moving to the music.
  • Both entertaining and educational, songs are used to structure each episode, drawing kids into key learning moments, and reinforcing themes and messages.

ABOUT IT’S A BIG BIG WORLD  

Welcome to IT’S A BIG BIG WORLD! Travel deep into the rainforest, high atop the world, to the tallest tree – the World Tree – where Snook, an energetic giant tree sloth, is your guide to a big, big world of animal characters, exciting stories, and world music rhythms.  This innovative preschool series from Mitchell Kriegman (creator of Bear in the Big Blue House, Clarissa Explains It All) helps kids experience science, not just as a collection of facts, but as an exciting process of discovery.

Smooch and Winslow cause a ruckus. Smooch decides to move. Wartz is upset that he can’t see-saw with the monkeys. Burdette decades the World Tree needs a queen. Oko shares some of his favourite songs.
