The Seven Network’s hit series Farmer Wants A Wife concluded its unforgettable 2023 season last night, reaching over 8.5 million viewers across its run.
Newly released VOZ data revealsthe nation’s favourite bush fairy tale attracted its biggest ever audience on 7plus and the series averaged 1.17million viewers in 2023, with the overnight total audience up 16% on 2022.
On 7plus, Farmer Wants A Wife boosted its BVOD reach 45% year-on-year, to attract 1.47 million unique viewers on the free streaming service to date, and averaging 188,000 viewers per episode, with live streaming up 27% year-on-year.
The much-loved show, which sees host Samantha Armytage and co-host Natalie Gruzlewski playing cupid, dominated its timeslot and produced its biggest timeslot commercial audience share since 2020.
And for the first time on Australian television, every farmer who followed their heart on the show found real love.

Farmer Wants A Wife will return in 2024 and is a Fremantle Australia and Eureka Productions co-production for the Seven Network.
