NBCUniversal International Networks and Direct-to-Consumer, one of the world’s leading media and entertainment companies, last night welcomed guests to Arturo’s in Woolloomooloo to celebrate fan-favourite franchise Below Deck on Hayu and 7Bravo.
Event attendees were treated to a glamorous evening fit for a Below Deck charter guest, complete with a special appearance from franchise icon Captain Sandy Yawn of Below Deck Mediterranean.
Steering the evening were 7Bravo host, Lucia Hawley, and friend of Hayu, Justin Hill, who introduced Captain Sandy to Sydney personalities, media, and partners.
Captain Sandy took part in an exclusive Q&A, where she gave guests a sneak peek into the new season of Below Deck Mediterranean and what it’s like being a Captain onboard a superyacht, managing crew and, at times, demanding charter guests.
On arrival, guests were welcomed by tunes from DJ Eve Speciall, cocktails inspired by the high seas, and canapés served by Below Deck Stews from a custom-made lifebuoy platter.
Hayu and 7Bravo stepped up the selfie-game with a Below Deck-inspired backdrop that saw guests flocking in numbers to live out their high seas’ dreams – because if you didn’t take a picture, were you ever really there?
