Australian Open on Channel 9 – Aussie Alex de Minaur and Wimbledon champ Carlos Alcaraz will headline the star- studded charity match-ups in the Australian Open’s Opening Week starting 6.30pm tonight – Wednesday, January 10 on the 9Network.
With each exhibition charity match being streamed live and free on 9Now, Alex de Minaur’s final stop in his red-hot run up to the first Grand Slam of 2024 sees him meeting world No.2 Carlos Alcaraz on Rod Laver Arena.Â
On Thursday, A Night with Novak and Friends will be served up on Channel 9HD as the king of Melbourne Park, Novak Djokovic, continues his pursuit of an 11th Australian Open title, alongside a cast of the biggest names in tennis.
Friday night rounds out the build-up for AO24 when Carlos Alcaraz returns to face world No.11 Casper Ruud in another charity match. Money raised from these matches will go to the Australian Tennis Foundation.
Featuring in commentary this week will be Nine’s James Bracey and expert commentator Todd Woodbridge.Â
