Around the Wicket on ESPN – ESPN’s ‘Around The Wicket’ will deliver compelling insight into the 2024 Twenty20 Cricket World Cup, as the show heads to New York City with a star-studded panel of Aussie cricketing legends throughout the tournament.
The 2024 Twenty20 World Cup will be staged in the USA for the first time and ESPN’s ‘Around The Wicket’ will be on the ground, broadcasting from New York City’s Seaport Studios to cover all the tournament action, where England look to defend their T20 crown.
Host Neroli Meadows will be joined by regular panelists and former Australian captains Michael Clarke, Tim Paine, Aaron Finch, Lisa Sthalekar, and former Australian star Callum Ferguson.
ESPN’s first episode from New York will air on Wednesday June 5, with new episodes following throughout the tournament.
The 2024 T20 World Cup is jointly hosted by the West Indies and The United States – the first ICC World Cup Tournament to play matches in the USA.
United States will be making their tournament debut as co-hosts, and a record 20 teams will compete for the world T20 crown, ensuring the biggest T20 World Cup ever.
The competition is set for some amazing moments with the Pool A match between India and Pakistan in New York, one of the most in-demand tickets in tournament history.
Australia is in Pool B alongside defending champions England, Namibia, Scotland and Oman.
Australia will open the tournament on June 5 in Barbados, against Oman.
Episodes of ‘Around The Wicket’ will be available as an audio podcast and across ESPN’s social media channels.
