The Messenger on ABC – With his best friends splintered, their lives a mess, Ed (William McKenna) feels like he’s failing the most important card of all. But he can’t give up despite the chaos his actions have created.
Ed learns about the issues Ritchie (Kartanya Maynard) struggles with and hides every day. He figures out a way to give Ritchie a way out of battling her demons alone and what he finds when he does proves transformative.
Audrey (Alexandra Jensen) has a strange encounter with someone Ed has delivered a message to and it changes her perspective on everything. When she realises the card connection, Audrey comes to see it’s time to stop running and face up to past misdeeds to help her friends and herself.
Uniting with Ed and Ritchie, they’re able to ensure Marv (Chris Alosio) is safe and in the process, Ed realises his message for Audrey is about love, but not in the way he thought.
And just when Ed thinks his whole Messenger journey is complete – a chance meeting with the person who set this whole thing in motion. Ed learns this isn’t the end at all, it’s the beginning of something much bigger.
