Sherwood on ABC and ABC iview S2E1 – Inspired by stories and events in the community where the author James Graham grew up, two years on from the events of the previous series, a senseless murder threatens to reignite the historic turf wars that plagued Nottingham of old and unearth more secrets from the past.
As those involved seek revenge, and with a proposed new mine already dividing the community, this new wave of crime threatens to send the still healing community back into the ‘bad old days’ of mistrust and suspicions between neighbours and the police alike.
Episode 1
Whilst the new Sheriff of Nottingham, Lisa Waters, fights against a proposal backed by the influential Warner family to open a new mine in Ashfield, the shocking murder of Nicky Branson threatens to reignite historic turf wars that plagued Nottingham of old.
Ronan Sparrow, struggling with the weight of shocking family secrets, is a witness to the crime. His involvement drags his family back into contact with both the police and the notorious Branson family. Ian St Clair adjusts to his new role outside of the police.
