Living with Devils on ABC – In a wild and windswept corner of Australia, acclaimed film-maker Simon Plowright spends a year living with the iconic but endangered marsupial, the Tasmanian Devil.
Here, a life and death struggle is unfolding. A rare transmissible cancer has already devastated 80% of the devil population and is slowly making its way to the last stronghold of healthy animals.
Deeply passionate about this much misunderstood marsupial, Simon will devote himself to recording these remaining animals, and will discover that amidst the crisis, there is also a glimmer of hope.
