Gold Diggers on ABC – It’s the 1850s, and two ratbag sisters from Sydney travel to Australia’s Gold Rush in search of their own treasure: newly rich idiots.
With wanted posters plastered all over town, and Fran leading the charge to drive the sisters out, Gert and Marigold go on the run, taking Vic and Ben with them.
Life at large in the Australian bush puts relationships to the test – including the bond between the sisters. Meanwhile, Leonard, embittered by Marigold’s rejection of him and encouraged by the Baron, devises a plan to track down the sisters and bring them back to Dead Horse Gap.
