Grand Designs UK returns with a special anniversary series hosted by the inimitable Kevin McCloud.
The first episode features Grand Designs’ most memorable and beloved self-build journeys over the
past 25 years, featuring some of the biggest budget overspends, most ambitious builds and disastrous
delays.
Zahid and Ferzana from Leeds replace an old coastguard station on an exposed East Yorkshire
headland with a cantilevered, three-storey steel and glass box to take in the panoramic sea views.
But right from the start the build is fraught with issues.
