ABC’s Mushroom Case Daily Podcast – The ABC’s true crime podcast Mushroom Case Daily returns with new episodes covering the trial of Erin Patterson from Morwell’s LaTrobe Valley Courthouse.
In 2023, three people died and a fourth survived an induced coma after eating Beef Wellington at a family lunch, hosted by Erin Patterson.
Police allege the Beef Wellington contained poisonous mushrooms, but Erin Patterson says she’s innocent.
Now, the accused triple murderer is fighting the charges in a regional Victorian courthouse. ABC’s Court Reporter Kristian Silva and producer Stephen Stockwell are on the ground, bringing you all the key moments from the trial as they unravel in court.

There’s not a public feed for people to listen in, so, we’re going to do our best to try to be your eyes and ears and tell you what the jury hears,”
