Recap | Farmer Wants a Wife on Channel 7 S15E2 – First dates and first kisses. Steamy 24-hour dates on Farmer Wants A Wife
Tonight on Farmer Wants A Wife: Farmers Jarrad and Tom chose five ladies to invite back to their farms before all four farmers each invited a special lady for an unforgettable day alone.
Farmer Tom invited 28-year-old primary school teacher Eliza, 27-year-old registered nurse Emma, 29-year-old fitness coach Emmie-Rose, 28-year-old registered nurse Georgie and 34-year-old lawyer Bridget back to the farm to get to know them better.
Clearly smitten by Eliza, Tom invited her on a 24-hour date where they enjoyed a magical evening in Tom’s barn. Eliza said she was excited to have the farmer all to herself, saying he was “definitely ticking all the boxes at the moment!” The pair spent the night talking about family and animals before ending the night with a kiss. “There could be some love blossoming there for sure.”
Jarrad invited 22-year-old education support worker Ash, 21-year-old bartender Chloe, 23-year-old jillaroo Lucy, 25-year-old business owner Maneesha and 22-year-old jewellery store manager Bri back to his Stanthorpe sheep farm.
Sensing a strong connection with Chloe and being fond of her “big personality”, Jarrad followed his instincts and invited her on the first 24-hour date. After a romantic swim at a nearby waterfall, Jarrad prepared a barbeque dinner for the pair. “It meant a lot to be able to cook for her and just for her,” said Jarrad. “We’ve got a similar sense of humour and really like being around each other.” Chloe also enjoyed her alone time with Jarrad, saying,
“Today has really grounded my feelings for Jarrad. Fingers crossed; they only grow from here.”
For his 24-hour date with 22-year-old optometrist Keeley, Biloela farmer Corey decorated his barn with fairy lights and flowers, creating a romantic space for the couple to get to know each other. During their date, Corey and Keeley talked about their grandparents with Corey noting it was rare to “fall for someone” who was on the same wavelength when it came to family.
After sharing their first kiss at the end of the date, Keeley admitted she was feeling “a little bit smitten” with Corey.
After inviting Claire for the first 24-hour date, Thomas was excited to show her around the farm. For Claire, the night was an opportunity to find out what made Thomas tick. “I’m hoping to get a deeper understanding of Thomas and what he’s about, who he is as a person.”
Nestled on the back of a vintage truck once owned by his grandfather, Thomas told Claire she was “beautiful” before the couple shared their first kiss.
