Nine wins in Total People Network and Total People Primary Channel shares.

Nine wins in 16-39 demographics in Network and Primary Channel shares.

Nine wins in 25-54 demographics in Network and Primary Channel shares.

9Gem was the highest multi channel in Total People.

10 Peach was the highest multi channel in 16-39.

10 Peach was the highest multi channel in 25-54.

ABC did beat 10 in total people network and primary channel shares. However, it should be noted that ABC have a massive advantage in older age brackets. In 16-39, 10 smashed ABC (22.8% to just 12.2%) and in 25-54 (22.0% to 12.8%) with network shares.

  • Across the network shares (prime time), 9Network won the week with all key demos and Total People, recording the following shares:

    • Grocery Shopper + Child: 43%
    • Total People: 40.5%
  • Across the primary channel shares (prime time), Channel 9  won the week with all key demos and Total People, recording the following shares:

  • Love Island Australia – with a demographically pure 16-39 audience – continues to set the bar for digital first programming, with the series seeing huge uplift on overnight viewing on 9Now. 
  • So far, Love Island Australia is seeing a series average BVOD uplift of 393% on linear viewing.
  • Episode 1 of Love Island Australia has a Total TV audience of 605,000, with that figure expected to grow in the coming weeks and months.
