The Flight Attendant Murders on SBS Viceland and SBS on Demand S1E1 and S1E2 – This documentary series explores the murders of four flight attendants in the 1970’s and 1980’s in Texas. Their names are Jeannie, Cheryl, Beverley and Jeeta. All four women worked for the same airline and their murders bear striking similarities. While one man, convicted rapist Jonathan Reed was found guilty of the first murder, three other murders took place while he was in prison.
Over four episodes the series unpicks this story and asks if potentially the wrong bad man has been incarcerated for four decades and another killer left undiscovered?
Season One, Episode One:
In the first episode we trace the story of Jeannie, the first victim. Jeanie is introduced to us through the testimony of her closest friends and family who re-tell the circumstances of her attack and the police investigation to find the perpetrator.
Season One, Episode Two:
Episode two tells the story of the next two air hostesses who lost their lives – Cheryl and Beverley. Expert analysts explore whether there was a missed link made between the three murders.
