Mysteries from Above on SBS Viceland – Mysteries from Above is a documentary series that sets out to investigate significant historic and contemporary sites from the revealing vantage points of drone, satellite, and aerial photography.
Each episode contains four distinct stories, and each story begins with a view from above, allowing for a unique perspective from which to understand the site below, dramatically changing the way we see ourselves and the world around us.
Season One, Episode Ten:
The unique view from above reveals how the world-famous pyramids of Giza could be a giant map of the stars, how first responders brought hope to the survivors of Hurricane Katrina from the sky, why an Indonesian volcano burns a vivid shade of blue, and how a bird’s eye view best reveals the forgotten pleasures of America’s recent past.
