The Dog House Australia on 10 – Loving couple Chris and Ollie have just relocated to Australia after years living in the UK and are ready to adopt a rescue dog.
Chris, an emergency department nurse, is hoping a dog can help him decompress from the stress and trauma of his job and the duo only have one type of dog in mind, a Kelpie. The AWL matchmakers settle on recent arrival Jerry and from the moment Jerry enters the pen, Chris and Ollie are smitten. Bu tovercome with nerves, Jerry makes a daring attempt at escaping the meeting pen. Will Jerry’s timid nature put the boys off?
Newly single Lisa is embracing the freedom of single life by finally getting the dog she’s always wanted. Accompanied by her son Matt, Lisa has expressed her desire for a little lapdog. The AWL matchmakers suggest fox terrier Millie. Lisa is immediately taken by Millie’s sassy personality but delight soon turns to concern as Millie begins scratching excessively during the meeting. Will Millie’s allergies be too much of a concern for Lisa to take on?
The Steeles are a family of seven and are looking to add to their pack by adopting another rescue dog. Their dog Charlie is central to the family’s chaotic life, but they acknowledge that Charlie’s separation anxiety is becoming concerning and hope another dog can be the antidote to his loneliness. Match makers introduce the family to energetic bull Arab puppy Reil. Butwill boisterous puppy Reil prove too much for the Steele family to handle?
