SKY NEWS / HERALD SUN PEOPLE’S FORUM: DANIEL ANDREWS v MATT GUY
Victorian Premier Daniel Andrews has agreed to appear with Opposition Leader Matt Guy at a Sky News / Herald Sun People’s Forum in the last week of the Victorian election campaign.
Hosted by Sky News Australia Chief News Anchor Kieran Gilbert, the one-hour forum will provide 100 undecided voters as selected by Q&A Market Research, with the opportunity to put questions directly to the two leaders on their vision for Victoria.
Invitations to participate in the People’s Forum were issued to both leaders. Mr Guy agreed three weeks ago to appear at the People’s Forum, with Mr Andrews confirming his participation this afternoon.
The People’s Forum events have been staged at federal and state elections since 2010 when Prime Minister, Julia Gillard, debated Opposition Leader, Tony Abbott, and are now part of the Australian election landscape.
