Season One, Episode One: The Jacobite Railway
The Scottish Highlands are a land of mystery and magic, and running through their heartland is a railway regularly voted the best in the world: The Jacobite Railway. Also known as the real Hogwarts Express, the Jacobite Railway runs from Fort William to Mallaig, a 42-mile journey we will follow from above.
We’ll pass the Glenfinnan Viaduct, the Glenfinnan Monument, and the site of Bonnie Prince Charlie’s hideout, journeying back over three centuries, to unravel a dramatic chapter of Scottish History: The Jacobite Rebellion.
