Dropped into Mogadishu, Somalia, and Raqqa, Syria — two of the world’s most dangerous cities — they face the threat of missile strikes, the devastating overcrowding of refugee camps, and the crippling poverty that millions endure. Often hiding behind humour, their deeply polarised views on immigration are pushed to breaking point, sparking intense conflicts and shocking revelations.
Series One, Episode One:
In Raqqa, Dave, Bushra and Chloe confront the aftermath of a brutal regime. They meet a family living in a home destroyed by a rocket attack and witness children scavenging plastic and food from rubbish dumps. Emotions run high as tears flow and a heated argument erupts.
