Recap | Married at First Sight Season 13 Episode 7 – It’s not only move-in day on Married At First Sight, but also time to meet a new friend: Revelations Week.
It replaces Confessions Week, with new tasks and (presumably) scandals. But don’t worry, someone’s still bound to rank the participants’ photos all wrong!

As everyone gets settled in, Gia‘s amazed by her new home.
“How can we argue here? It’s pretty good,” she tells Scott.
Maybe that’s a question Mel and Luke could help with.

David, who has read the Bible, is terrified.
“In the Book of Revelation, that’s the end of the world. That’s the end game,” he says.
The world can’t end yet, we haven’t even seen John Aiken tell anyone off at a Commitment Ceremony! Now I’m also scared!
One of this year’s new tasks is designed to let them see their partner being raw and unfiltered … in their audition tapes.

This news should see Chris‘ life flash before his eyes but he pretends he’s got nothing to worry about.
“Dumb and hot, for a relationship no. For sex, yes,” he says of his type.
And his turn offs? We’ve heard them before. But, you know, for recap’s sake: “Fat people. Fake tan, needy and fat people.”
“I’m f—ing appalled,” Brook reacts.
She tells him as much as but he says he’d never go out of his way to say that to women. Except when it’s on tape for a reality series, obviously.

The footy locker room chat has icked Brook out so much she says she cannot see how he can come back from it.
“I’ve done it to myself so I’ve got no one to blame,” Chris admits. “It’s about time I changed.”

“You should run,” Jesse says.
But Brook’s still conflicted – she doesn’t want to say there’s no hope, but there’s … very little hope.
Gia and Scott’s first task is also a new one: ‘Rapid Revelations’.
It’s basically a rapid-fire fill-in-the-blank.
“Something you don’t know about me is…” Gia reads, “…maybe that I’ve had a sugar daddy before?”

Rivals Bec and Danny try it out too and while there’s no sugar daddy confessions here, their lack of sexual chemistry comes up for the 300th time.
Considering it’s only episode seven, that’s an impressive stat!
They try to chat out why it’s not there and Bec questions whether Danny is trying hard enough.
“If we had loads of sexual chemistry, we were having sex loads, but we didn’t get on as mates that would actually be more of a concern to me,” he says.
They’re married and not just platonic besties so that’s not much comfort to Bec. But I do appreciate how hard he worked to try spin this as a positive.
I wonder if he’s now dizzy?
IT’S FINALLY TIME.

Stella and Filip and Alissa and David all pass with flying colours. So does Luke, even though Mel has said nothing to him besides asking him to sleep on a couch with no blanket.
Speaking of…
“Physically you do look like some sort of Greek God,” she tells her husband. But not Greek God enough for him to beat out Grayson.
“Right now I feel quite massively underconfident,” he says, not just of his Greek God-ness but also of his entire marriage.
Gia really enjoys the challenge, especially as Scott ranks Bec low.
“She’s a five, I’ve said that all along,” she reacts.
It also allows her to finally provide commentary on the men, after her earlier assessment of the “basic” women at the hens’ do.
From “there’s something about Filip’s head that I don’t like” to ”his ears are a bit too big”, at least she’s just as brutally honest about the dudes?
Ugh, now I’m dizzy from trying to spin that.

After a rocky Rapid Revelations challenge, Danny turns things around thanks to the photo ranking. Specifically by not doing it.
He throws everyone but Bec’s photos out the window.
Bec loves it, and I’m sure the poor runner who has to go pick outside and pick up the litter does too.
Mel and Luke tackle Rapid Revelations and Mel has enough revelations for the both of them.
Mostly about her stalking habits.
She explains that she and her friends would drive around their exes’ homes to check if they’re there – multiple times in a night.
”We love a stalk,” Mel says.
And this time, Luke can’t even muster up a “yeah, true” in response.
He decides this, and quite literally every other moment of their marriage so far, is enough to warrant some space.
He tells Mel that he’s feeling very isolated and losing his positivity, so he’s going to stay with a friend for the night.
It gives her the ick.
”It seems like he’s sulking,” she says, clearly not realising that every conversation she’s had this week has involved her disappointment in not marrying Bradley Cooper.

Unlike Chris’ audition tape, Rachel and Steven‘s are wholesome and do not insult large groups of people.
Instead, they realise how similar their insecurities and dating experiences are and it brings them closer together.
So close they decide it’s time to take on a huge responsibility together: a fish child named Cameron.

Gia and Scott are next to watch each other’s audition tapes and immediately, that power ranking they are so damn proud of plummets.
”If there’s a kid old enough they can look after themselves and I don’t have to pay school fees, I’d probably consider it,” he says of dating someone with a child.

That doesn’t impress his wife Gia who has a child.
”This was my fear,” she cries.
She questions whether everything he’s said to her has been a lie and is not very convinced by his explanation.
Watching this and seeing that Scott also cannot remember when a producer asks her daughter’s name? Mmm, probably also not gonna help!
Ahhh Revelations Week, you’ve certainly delivered tonight.
