Recap | Married at First Sight Season 13 Episode 16 – It’s the morning of the third MAFS Dinner Party and six fresh faces are about to witness the mayhem that happens around that large warehouse table.
While most people want to avoid the drama, Steph is positively gleeful at the idea of the others also disliking Tyson.

While we’ve been focused on the new couples, there have been some big developments at the apartments.
Gwyneth and Grayson have consciously uncoupled.
Oops, I mean Julia and Grayson! The earnest use of ”consciously uncouple” threw me.
Mel and Luke have also landed firmly in the friend zone and are back to sitting on opposite sides of the couch while awkward music plays in the background.

And everyone else is just really hoping that tonight isn’t like last week’s truly diabolical table time. Let’s find out…
Cocktail Hour
The biggest question for the experts is how Bec and Danny have moved forward after Gia’s accusation last week.
It soon becomes clear Bec’s MO is to focus on every single other couple in the room … and be angry at Gia. Obviously.
From instructing Steven to “service” his wife to branding Filip “controlling”, Bec’s got her nose in everyone else’s business.
Grayson arrives solo and gets the group up to speed on being broken up with via letter.
Then, when Julia walks through the door, Bec is first in line to stir the pot by telling her everything Grayson just opened up about.
Gia and Scott make an entrance, revealing they’re officially husband and wife AND boyfriend and girlfriend – oh, and they got matching tattoos.
That’s a pretty big week in any relationship but Bec isn’t pleased by the “absolute farce”.
Following last week’s terrible behaviour, Gia apologises to Alissa and drops a big bombshell – Bec has been feeding her information about Alissa from mutual friends in Adelaide.

One bride’s warning ahead of the most explosive night yet.
The newbies arrive, Bec fires a few more rogue shots and then, ding ding! Dinner is served.
Dinner Party
Excluding one bride on the warpath, the vibes at cocktail hour were lovely.
Some of the group hope that’ll continue into the rest of the night but come on. We’re too many weeks in for that kind of delusion!
Tyson is first on the chopping block as Rachel, Julia and Bec (shocker!) confront him over his “anti-woke” wedding vows.
“A lot of these woke people don’t take care of their rigs, they’re all sort of sloppy,” he tells the table. “I take care of my body. I’ve got a rig here to maintain as we all know.”
Danny exposes some of Tyson’s hypocrisy, as Tyson admits he won’t automatically pay for a woman on a date – despite all his big alpha provider chat.
He doesn’t think this should apply to Steph because she’s only his wife “temporarily”.
Although he’s just insulted her in front of the whole table, Tyson doesn’t feel like she’s backing him up enough as he’s attacked by “a pack of hyenas”.
How confusing! I thought being the protector was his job?
While a lot of the group are coming around to Juliette and Joel, Bec is not.
And she wants Joel in particular to be very aware of this.
Bec confronts Joel about what she perceived as his lack of attention towards Juliette’s family at their wedding, which descends into a comical back-and-forth.
“Sorry if I left you out, darling, I know you want attention,” Joel retorts.
They each just keep getting snarkier and snarkier and while Bec tells Joel he gives her the ick, her behaviour is the one icking out others around the table.
It’s time for our brief weekly intermission featuring happy couples: Chris and Sam are cute, Gia and Scott kiss and Bec glares down the table.
Okay, so it’s a short intermission today. Chaos, continue!
Bec gets the entire table’s attention to make a public announcement about how unhappy she is with Gia.
For many reasons, including something to do with Julia and Grayson.
Bec says Gia told her Julia wishes she was matched with a woman, but Gia says that never happened and Julia is adamant she never said that.
After unravelling the extremely complicated she-said, she-said in their minds, still no one knows why this has been brought up.
But now Julia and Grayson are arguing and Bec moves on to start her next fire.
“Stare at me with your evil eyes!” she yells at Gia, with the kind of tone you’d expect from a witch conjuring a spell.
I’m scared.
Bec attacks Scott and his eyes too, plus his and Gia’s matching tattoos.
She slams the table, demands to be listened to and then keeps going and going and going.
She says they’re “dropping bombs in people’s relationships … but actually what you’re doing is making a fool of yourself”.
I hope she has some lemon, honey and ginger at the apartment to soothe her throat later.
After letting Bec spiral, Gia finally hits back in the best way – with receipts!
Fresh off the “evil eyes” allegation, Gia reveals an evil cackle as she waves her phone in Bec’s face.
On it are screenshots of messages from Bec talking poorly about Alissa.
Meanwhile, Alissa is sitting there wondering how the hell this “mean girl shit” is still going on behind her back.
You will be surprised to hear that even after it’s all blown up in her face, Bec keeps going!
She claims Gia has no friends left while Bec has the whole table … but she’s definitely wrong because everyone else is bewildered by her behaviour.
Especially Danny, who has been sitting very quietly.
It doesn’t help that Bec keeps asking him to come sit next to her, while he looks like he wants to climb under the table and hide.
”I think he needs to have a good sleep and tomorrow he’ll be really proud of me,” she tells cameras.
Well, our sneak peek at Sunday’s episode shows that mayyyy not be the case.
A Commitment Ceremony of success stories, tears and a Tyson takedown. Sounds right up my alley!
