Recap | Married at First Sight Season 13 Episode 15 – We have one more wedding left of MAFS 2026 and can we get through this one without a Borat impression?

Before we can find out, we catch up with Juliette and Joel.

Want the official inside scoop on MAFS, unfiltered and unseen? Watch After The Dinner Party here

You’ll recall she fled her own wedding table after Joel and his mother’s, uh, unique speeches.

He’s hoping to make things right by introducing her to his teddy.

EMBARGO 24/2/2026 9PM Juliette
It’s not working. (Nine)

They debrief on how uncomfortable the speeches made Juliette – which shocks Joel! – and move forward by making a pact to give this a shot.

EXCLUSIVE: Joel unpacks mum’s ‘horrifying’ wedding speech – plus the confrontation you didn’t see on TV

Meanwhile, our other recent groom, Tyson, is feeling less and less like he wants to continue with new wife Stephanie.

“I thought you guys would match me up with someone a little more feminine,” he says.

Maybe the honeymoons will help ignite these sparks, but first – we have a wedding to attend!

Chris and Sam’s wedding

One of the last grooms to join the experiment is Sam, a 34-year-old fitness studio owner who is happiest outside.

He’s “a little bit picky” but ready to find his person, hoping to be one of the experiment’s first successful gay couples.

Joining him in that noble pursuit, and hopefully also in love, is Chris, a 38-year-old gym owner and farmer who is also happiest outside.

I’m starting to see why they were matched!

Chris arrives at the experiment with big news – he’s about to become a father, twice!

He is expecting one child via a surrogate and another as a donor father to his lesbian friend.

Sparks fly immediately, especially as they read their vows and realise they’re practically the same person.

The good times keep rolling into the reception, as Sam says Chris’ life of owning his gym and a farm sounds just like his dream life a few years in the future.

They end the night with a private chat under the moonlight and Chris is all ready to share his exciting fatherhood news.

Until Sam says: “If you wanted kids next year I don’t think that would be something I’m ready for just yet.”

MAFS 2026 Chris
Oh- (Nine)

Awkward.

Chris hits pause on his plan, wanting them to get to know one other better before he fully opens up.

The original couples’ one-month anniversaries

There are big milestones to celebrate this week!

OK, I suppose it’s almost as small a milestone as you can get in a relationship, but something has to keep the original couples busy while there’s a secret wedding taking place.

They’re tasked with celebrating one month together with something special, like a date night, gifts or … matching tattoos?

Not sure John Aiken would advise that, but Gia and Scott don’t seem to care.

Lucky he’s gone, the fake tanned ankle would send Chris into a tailspin. (Nine)

Meanwhile, Danny’s made Bec a platter on a freakishly large, freakishly textured gold blanket.

She’s thrilled.

“I’m falling in love with him and it’s great, it’s the best feeling in the world,” she reacts.

It’s just SO … gold. (Nine)

In Julia and Grayson‘s apartment, he and his extremely cosy-looking jumper are all smiles as Jules arrives with a surprise.

She’s written him a letter!

“We have grown so much separately and together,” she reads. “However,”

Oh no.

“That burning desire we have both spoken about doesn’t seem to be growing.”

This is not a sweet anniversary letter. This is a break-up.

Julia says she’s listening to her intuition and “choosing herself”, while Grayson floats above his body watching this play out in front of him.

MAFS 2026 Grayson
Huh? (Nine)

He’s really sad and maintains he’s the one who has been putting in all the effort.

“It hasn’t progressed and I don’t want to waste your time,” she says.

“I reckon you’ve probably wasted my time since the honeymoon,” he retorts.

That’s a crazy thing to say. Does he not remember their extremely unsexy Intimacy Week fantasy night?

The honeymoons

Over a romantic lunch, Stephanie and Tyson align on a lot of things and it seems like they’re getting along.

But then Tyson keeps talking … and talking … and talking …

He admits he’s very fussy with dating, digging himself a very deep, very dark hole as he admits he sees people “you wouldn’t think might get a girlfriend, with a girlfriend”.

He won’t elaborate but somehow, I don’t think his reasoning is free of judgement.

Right as he makes a comment about how much Steph can eat, the Honeymoon Box appears like the messy little box it is.

From discussions of exes to “body count”, you’ll be shocked to learn things go from worse to really, really bloody terrible.

MAFS 2026 Steph and Tyson
The chemistry is just leaping off the screen at you, isn’t it? (Nine)

Tyson decides to go to the gym to get some space. And because his rig is a Mazda 3, or whatever it was he said.

Before he goes though, he calls out Steph’s “masculine energy” for the 4659th time.

“It’s a you problem because it won’t work out and you’re missing out on all this,” he says.

MAFS 2026 Stephanie
Doesn’t look like Steph’s too worried about that. (Nine)

Things are going better for Chris and Sam, who survive the honeymoon box while Chris once again avoids revealing his fast-approaching fatherhood news.

Instead, he just tells Sam there is something he would like to tell him at another random time in the future.

It makes it sound far more ominous that it is.

On the Gold Coast, Juliette and Joel have put their disaster wedding day behind them.

Except for one part: the Borat impressions.

I don’t know about you, but I like!

MAFS 2026 Joel and Juliette
VERY NICE. (Nine)

Back in the Shoalhaven, Tyson returns from the gym and the endorphins have worked wonders as he apologises for calling her masculine every two seconds.

He suggests separate rooms, and Steph couldn’t agree more – otherwise he’ll be banished to sleeping on the couch.

“Well, you could also sleep on the couch too,” he says.

Now, now, that’s not very traditional!

MAFS 2026 Steph and Tyson
How many side-by-sides of these two staring at each other with disdain is too many? (Nine)

Steph points that out and oh, what do you know? He mentions, let’s all say it together now, “masculine energy”!

She tries to explain that calling him out isn’t masculine at all, but it doesn’t seem to get through.

“I’m not looking for a challenge, I’m looking for a submissive woman,” he says.

He is really looking forward to Steph getting some constructive criticism from the experts, and bless. I just don’t think the next Commitment Ceremony is going to go how he thinks it’s going to go.

Before then though, the new couples will have to mix and mingle with the rest of the couple at the Dinner Party – and Tyson may be on the menu.

Buuuut dinner may be interrupted, because Hurricane Bec is on the horizon. Take shelter (on the couch, duh) because things are about to get bumpy!
