Recap | Married at First Sight Season 13 Episode 11 – MAFS‘ Intimacy Week has done wonders so far … for some couples.
Rebecca and Steve are not one of them!
MAFS: After The Dinner Party starts Wednesday February 18 only on Stan.
“I’m done,” she declares, heading for the door.
Turns out, after rejecting her ultimate fantasy night plans and with cameras gone, Steve said Rebecca being in the experiment to find love was “bullshit”.
Now, Steve thinks her reaction is a bit dramatic: “Rebecca’s just highly emotional and loud and rude and quite crude as well.”
But as for him, well, “I don’t think I’m doing a lot wrong, to be honest”.
Rebecca’s not the only one moving out of a shared apartment.
After Steven rejected her hopes for a pash, Rachel stayed elsewhere and plans to keep it that way.
That is something she really, really wants Steven to know.
She interrupts his morning coffee to pack and he greets her with a “Happy birthday!”, just in case you thought this couldn’t get any more awkward.
Her present to herself is passive-aggressively packing everything that belongs to her and even a few things that don’t.
Despite a lovely night of painting each other (and Chris’ dead pets), Brook has also decided she wants some space.
She thinks she and Chris have a lot of individual work to do on themselves.
“You don’t not have feelings for me,” Chris clarifies.
“Mmm,” she replies.
On the bright side (for her, not him) that space can begin immediately – the grooms have plans!

The grooms’ Intimacy Workshop
The men, including Danny in Peaky Blinders cosplay, quickly fill Alessandra in on all the juicy details of their evenings.
“Luke, you’re smiling today!” she points out.
He can hardly believe it either!
But not everyone can be as happy as Luke – and that is a sentence I never thought I’d write!
Grayson explains that Julia’s ultimate fantasy night felt more like a job interview.
Although he’s disappointed in himself for allowing her to push his feelings to the side, he’s still down to try. Or should I say, lean in.

Steven tells the group he couldn’t give Rachel the pash she wanted, which is devastating and awful but on the bright side, it does give us the quote of the season so far.
“Men used to die in trenches and fight wars and now he’s too scared to even give his missus a kiss,” Danny says.
His words! Not mine!
Alessandra says something similar but with a little more tact: if he wants to grow a romantic connection, he’s going to have to get romantic.
While Chris admits he wants to keep trying and trying and trying to make things work with Brook, the same can’t be said for Steve.
Despite his wife moving out, he tries to spin her ultimate fantasy night as a huge success that brought them closer!
He then explains how he “called her out” on being in the experiment for love because he’s sure there are other reasons.
EXCLUSIVE: Alessandra Rampolla reacts after MAFS groom Steve accused her of being fed lines through an earpiece
Alessandra says it sounds like a pretty terrible ultimate fantasy night for Rebecca, leading to an awkward back-and-forth.
She thinks Steve’s just trying to sound good in front of the cameras.
“I disagree with you … I don’t have an earpiece in my ear, I’m not waiting for someone to tell me what to say,” he fires back.
The other men look like they want to sink into the couches.
When Filip tells him that was uncalled for, Steve claims he wasn’t even directing it towards her. Despite, you know, saying it directly to her.
“Do not even,” she warns him.
This is the spiciest it’s been all Intimacy Week! And it’s not even the right type of spice!
Intimacy Week tasks
The grooms return home with the one thing guaranteed to bring couples closer: gossip.
But the public telling-off has done nothing to change Steve’s tune.

Rebecca is sick of not being her full self in fear of turning him off – and if that was only half of her, he agrees she’s “too much” for him.
Yikes.
“At least you get to be yourself now, you get to give them the TV gold you’ve been holding back on,” he says, seconds after declaring he’s been nothing but kind and respectful!

Every intense and awkward moment from MAFS 2026 Intimacy Week
Heat, heartbreak and hard passes.
Alessandra has set the grooms some covert homework – doing something small and special for their wives, showing their care, their passion and in David’s case, their body.
Chris’ plan requires him to banish Brook to the other room while he sets something special up for her.
She’s really excited.
He sets up a stunning spa night of bubble bath, champers, face masks and candles but she is very much not into it.
“I feel a little bit smothered,” she says.
She outright tells him she doesn’t want to do it and he’s disappointed … in himself, because his actions have caused her to pull back.
He almost looks like he’s going to cry.
Dare I say we are witnessing personal growth before our very eyes!?

Mel and Luke are delivered the task of a really long hug and turns out, it’s exactly what they needed.
After the workshop, Steven delivered Rachel a floral peace offering.
It’s a good start and Rachel agrees to move back into their apartment, toilet paper and all, but there’s still work to do!
In a shocking turn of events, Alessandra delivers them an envelope containing their next task … to hug.
No, I’m kidding. It’s to get smooching.
Just as Intimacy Week wraps up, there’s a curveball: Brook is gone.
She got on a one-way ticket home to the Gold Coast and Chris is gutted.
The whole thing has taught him to think before he speaks, which is perhaps why he is able to explain what’s happened without a single swear word!
You think that was dramatic? Just you wait.
Tomorrow, a Dinner Party so shocking it has to be seen to be believed. There’s screaming, walkouts, tears and the words “hell broke loose”.
Cancel your plans! Grab the popcorn! It’s about to go down.
