Married at First Sight on Channel 9 – They say home is where the heart is, and Homestays Week is testing that theory as the brides and grooms visit each other’s places.

Things are getting serious as Tori and Jack, Jade and Ridge and Sara and Tim all face the potential reality of moving interstate to be together.

Stream every episode of Married At First Sight for free on 9Now.

Homestays proves to be no holiday as the couples try to figure out the nitty gritty of who will be moving to where or in some cases if there will even be a move at all.

Let’s see how the second half of the couples faired at this very pointy end of the experiment…

Jade and Ridge

Ridge isn’t just visiting Jade’s family on the Gold Coast, he’s also moving in with them for the week as Jade lives with her mum, dad and brother.

This should all go smoothly, as long as Ridge doesn’t say something immature. Well, this should be DEEECEEE.

Ridge’s biggest concern? How he’s going to keep the squeaking in the bedroom quiet seeing as he’s now sharing a wall with Jade’s parents.

“I’ll just be very quiet like a thief in the night,” Ridge says.

While Ridge is quiet in the night he is anything but at family lunch the next day.

When Jade asks Ridge to put his sausage on a roll, Ridge flashes a cheeky smirk and lets out a “DEEECEEEE”.

Jade’s family isn’t accustomed to Ridge’s unusual vernacular and even Jade admits there’s a “language barrier” between them at times.

Ridge kicks off a bit of a vocabulary lesson, starting with the word “doggin'” but Jade does not approve of the impromptu class and by the looks of it neither does her family.

“It’s not funny, the word just sounds so dirty,” Jade shudders.

Jade can you please translate what this man is saying to us? (Nine)

Jade’s sister Jasmine and mother Dale are worried that Ridge might be too immature to truly step up to the plate for Jade and her daughter.

To show just how mature he really is, Ridge later organises an Airbnb date for Jade where he’s cooking up some beef ravioli in budgie smugglers. We hope for Ridge’s sake there are no oil splashes.

It’s not just ravioli on the menu – there will also be a serving of some serious life planning as Jade and Ridge look to the future.

With the pair living in different states, Ridge knows the pressure is on him to move to be with Jade and her daughter.

He thinks they’ll need to do six months long distance to see what life on the outside is really like and then he’ll make the call as to whether to move or not.

WATCH: Jayden seeks relationship advice from his older brother Mitch as he and Eden struggle

Six months apart? Not exactly what Jade wanted to hear. (Nine)

Jade sees this as a sign of Ridge’s doubt.

“I feel like Ridge will just go home and go back to normal life, I feel like he’s probably not ready to really commit and start a proper future,” she tears up.

Jade worries that Ridge is all “sunshine and rainbows” but Ridge quickly puts those concerns to rest.

“I’m just looking at it with the mindset of, this girl could be it for me and I’m going to do everything I can to fight for her,” Ridge assures her.

Sara and Tim

Everyone is pretty excited about Tim’s visit to Sara’s Sydney home, especially Tim’s problematic best man Ben whose flown in all the way from the Gold Coast just to catch up with them.

Sara is less than thrilled to meet up with Ben who isn’t exactly her cup of tea.

EXCLUSIVE: Sara explains the truth behind the meet-up with her ex

Once Ben is finished asking questions about Sara’s taste in home décor, he begins prying into their relationship and eventually the topic of Sara’s “emotional cheat” on Tim comes up.

“Of all the mistakes to make, the lying is a bit of a sensitive spot because of Tim’s past,” a concerned Ben says.

Ben’s questions cause Tim’s feelings about the whole ‘Sara meeting up with ex’ debacle to resurface but Sara is quick to shut them down telling him, “We’re not rehashing.”

Ben might seem like just a larrakin but he’s hiding a pretty big brain under that mullet. He clues on to the “unresolved tension” between Sara and Tim.

“It sounds like a nightmare,” Ben says of Sara and Tim’s relationship.

Tori and Jack

If Sara thought Ben was a difficult friend to deal with, then she should count her lucky stars she didn’t have to meet Jack’s friends Jasmine and Lizz.

Jack describes Lizz as “a straight shooter” and it might be the biggest understatement made yet.

Liz is heading into the meet-up with the impression that Tori “isn’t the right girl for Jack”. And we’re off to a cracking start.

Like it does in every conversation, the fact that Tori and Jack haven’t had sex yet is brought up.

Lizz says it’s a “major red flag” for her. Strike one for Tori.

Then Lizz and Jasmine ask Tori if it’s a problem that Jack has a lot of female friends. Tori says it’s not a problem at all, in fact she has a lot of male friends herself.

But according to Lizz, what’s good for the goose isn’t good for the gander.

“When I come across with a girl that has a lot of guy friends it’s usually because they’re sleeping with all the boys,” Lizz adds her two cents. And that’s strike two for Tori.

Then comes the matter of Tori’s wedding vows, and after hearing them Lizz says she “would not be friends with Tori”. Ouch.

Lizz also doesn’t approve of Tori’s taste in coffee. “Anyone that makes their coffee order their personality isn’t my kind of person… I got the impression you were basic,” Lizz tells Tori. That’s strike three, and Tori is out in Lizz’s eyes.

It is a tough day out in the trenches for Tori and what makes it all worse is that not a peep came out of Jack to defend her.

EXCLUSIVE: Jonathan gets candid about his past relationships in his audition tape

Tori has now been left with serious doubts about whether Jack and fortnightly catchups with his friend Lizz is something she’s willing to give up her life in Melbourne for.

After a meeting with Jack’s very non-accepting friends it’s no wonder that Tori is in need of a glass (or bottle) of Champagne.

Thankfully, Jack has organised a fine-dining date where the bubbly will be flowing freely.

But things take a turn as the couple start discussing their life outside of the experiment and again the interstate long distance is a hurdle.

Tori is hoping to see Jack every weekend with the pair alternating travel, seems reasonable? Jack says there’s no real need to see each other EVERY weekend.

“It’s too much. It’s just not practical,” he huffs.

While Tori says it’s more about him having a desire to want to see her and maybe even missing her?

EXCLUSIVE: Lucinda on her hopes following a disaster Homestays visit with Timothy

The conversation has left Tori with more questions than answers.

“Right now I am questioning our relationship. If Jack is not serious about us then I need to know,” Tori stands firm.

“Jack wants me to give up my whole life to move to the Gold Coast but he’s not giving up anything. It’s a half-arsed approach and it’s pissing me off.”

But Jack reckons he can “fix it” with a gift.

He gifts Tori a stunning diamond bracelet with a ‘B’ initial for ‘basic’. We only jest, it of course has a ‘T’ for Tori.

The groom is sure his romantic gesture will make Tori’s very real worries disappear. He slaps on the diamond bracelet and brings out a surprise dessert with some sparklers.

And it works! Sighhh.

“I’ve got a strategy. Final Vows are coming up and I want to get Tori over the line,” Jack smiles.

And he doesn’t just have plans to get Tori over the line, we think there may be plans to finally seal the deal, if you catch our drift.

Nothing a little present can’t fix. (Nine)

Tune in tomorrow night to see Tori and Jack’s BIG night panned out and what the rest of the group will have to say about it at one of the last Dinner Parties.
