Married at First Sight on Channel 9 – The episode has barely begun and a bride is already packing her bags to leave the experiment – and so suddenly, what have we missed?

In the most unexpected twist, it’s Lauren who is leaving.

But not for the reasons you might assume.

Stream every episode of Married At First Sight for free on 9Now.

It’s got nothing to do with her husband Jonathan, instead Lauren is undergoing surgery and so is heading back home to Perth where she will be in recovery for a week.

With no Lauren at the Dinner Party this week, Lauren tasks Jono to take her place as resident trouble maker and suggests he practice yelling at people in the mirror.

But even with leading lady Lauren away, the other couples are forging ahead with Feedback Week – and let’s just say there’ll be a lot for Lauren to catch up on when she returns…

EXCLUSIVE: Lauren explains her sudden exit from the experiment as she undergoes surgery

Sara and Tim

Sara is working overtime to make sure she doesn’t lose Tim after the scandalous events of last week, and so she organises an adorable picnic date by the harbour.

She tops off the romantic set up by listing all the things she likes about Tim. “You’re very understanding, very very patient, very emotionally intelligent,” the bride beams.

“I can tell she’s trying, she’s putting in the effort, It’s great to see,” Tim glows.

Sara’s date works a treat because the pair “jump each other” as soon as the cameras leave. Sara notes that the pair have always had “strong sexual chemistry”.

“I feel like a weight has lifted off my chest,” Tim says. And let us tell you now, he’s not the only groom to say that this week…

Tori and Jack

Just about everyone is having their say about Tori and Jack’s relationship. Yesterday it was Lauren and Jono, today it’s Jayden and Jade.

The experts organise for Tori and Jayden, and Jade and Jack to separately meet up so they can give each other some one-on-one relationship feedback.

As a self-appointed fourth expert, Jayden doesn’t hold back with Tori.

“Jack is doing a lot of things wrong and you’re just brushing it under the rug and that is not healthy,” Jayden declares.

“That is facts.” Mic drop!

EPISODE 26 RECAP: Sara storms out as Jayden cracks down on the bride during Feedback Week

But as she has through the entire experiment, Tori defends Jack and their relationship with honour.

“There is longevity with me and Jack and if I didn’t think so I wouldn’t be wasting my time,” Tori reminds Jayden.

A picture tells a thousand words. Safe to say Tori doesn’t appreciate Jayden’s feedback. (Nine)

Meanwhile Jack is meeting Jade on the other side of town and for Jack, Jade’s energy is all too familiar.

“I like Jade. She’s pretty fiery, she’s pretty passionate, I’ve definitely dated people like Jade in the past,” Jack says of the bride.

There’s definitely nothing untoward happening, but Jade had this to say about the meeting.

“I definitely feel like Jack was trying with me, but I was trying to ignore that and just focus on what is going on in his relationship with Tori.”

And while he’s very much dedicated to Tori, he certainly isn’t shy when it comes to complimenting the bride.

“I feel like you have spicy energy and you don’t mind saying it how it is,” Jack flashes a smile at Jade.

He also crafts up a nickname for the bride – Juicy Jade.

And we think we know why she’s got that nickname – because she knows how to squeeze things out of people, like this next admission from Jack.

“If I had a sexual spark with someone then maybe we would’ve had sex by now,” Jack says, effectively admitting he would’ve slept with Tori sooner if she was more his type.

MAFS 2024
Eyes on the prize Jack – we mean Tori of course! (Nine)

The whole experience has just made Jade grateful that she’s with Ridge because she’s “definitely not buying any” of what Jack is selling.

“I think Tori and Jack haven’t slept together because he doesn’t like her like that,” Jade sums up her observations.

Lucinda and Timothy

While Jade is happy to spend time with Ridge, Timothy isn’t.

In fact, the 51-year-old is spewing that he’s been paired up with his younger co-star to get marriage advice.

“The only thing that Ridge is going to teach me is how much a Happy Meal is,” Timothy scoffs.

“Ridge is a nice guy but he’s just dumb. Whatever he’s got to say will be like a fart in a windstorm.”

And it’s crystal clear that Timothy is confident he will learn absolutely nothing from Ridge.

But Timothy is wrong.

Ridge accidentally lets slip that Jack had mentioned Timothy and Lucinda are “done and checked out” of their relationship.

It’s a “slap in the face” for the couple who have made leaps of progress in the past week.

“My blood is boiling. The most fake guy from head to toe in this whole experiment is going to call me phoney. That’s rich,” Timothy seethes.

“Saddle up Jacky boy because I’m ready for war,” Timothy cracks his knuckles.

This means war. (Nine)

In the spirit of Feedback Week, Lucinda and Timothy decide to write Tori and Jack an anonymous letter.

“We’re giving THE facts – as hard as they are to read or not – and we’re doing it with a little cheeky twist,” Lucinda teases.

She begins typing: “This is the bulls–t investigators and we’re calling bulls–t on you two.”

That is one strong opening statement! The ‘Bulls–t Investigators’ ain’t here to play.

With a little less finesse than the Mission Impossible spies, Lucinda and Timothy creep and body roll down the hallway to deliver the highly confidential document.

They sweep the letter under the door and knock and run like two troublesome teenagers. Classic.

“I don’t think Jack and Tori have any idea what’s about to hit them,” Timothy grins from ear to ear.

Tom Cruise is that you!? (Nine)

Tori and Jack read the anonymous letter, they skim past the done-to-death questions about their sex lives (or lack thereof).

But Tori trips over her own words, as she reads the following: “Jack, the girl in the article, you have openly said that she is bats–t crazy…”

Lucinda and Timothy – sorry, the anonymous writers – are of course referring to the scandal that unfolded at the start of the experiment, when Jack was outed by an online gossip column from breaking up with his girlfriend to enter MAFS and telling her he was moving overseas for a job.

Lucinda and Timothy – sorry again, the anonymous writers – also wrote a fun reunion task for Tori and Jack.

“Our task for you this week is to invite the girl from the article to do a three way conversation and come clean on what you’ve been dragging her through without her know it.”

The BS Investigators even have their own logo. (Nine)

It’s safe to say the idea goes down like a lead balloon.

“We aren’t doing this, it’s disrespectful,” Tori snaps.

“I f–king hate these people.”

Of all the things that have been said and done in the experiment, this letter has pushed Tori over the edge.

“This letter has hit a sweet spot and it’s pissed me off royally,” she fires up.

“Just when I think this group can’t go any lower…”

And when Jack asks who Tori thinks wrote the letter she says, “I think this letter is a bit too juvenile for Lucinda and Timothy.” Oh Tori, how wrong you are.

Tori drafts up a letter of her own to send back to the writers: “Go f–k yourself respectfully. Love Tori and Jack xoxo.”

Not as creative as the ‘Bulls–t Investigators’ but it certainly gets the message across.

MAFS 2024
This hasn’t gotten under Tori’s skin AT ALL. (Nine)

So will the Bulls–t Investigators come clean? Will Juicy Jade unveil Jack’s comments? Will Timothy be announced as the new James Bond?

We hope every answer will be unveiled at tomorrow’s Dinner Party – appetisers will be served at 7pm. See you there!
