Jessica Millward moves to European correspondent role for 9NEWS – JESSICA MILLWARD will be moving into a new role with 9 NEWS as a European correspondent, based in our LONDON Bureau.
It’s a great achievement for Jess, earned through many years of hard work and tenacity as a journalist for NINE.
She began her career in regional television learning the basics with WIN NEWS Queensland.
In 2012, she moved to Brisbane and into the 9 NEWS Queensland team, where she quickly grew and then shone as a producer and reporter.
In 2015, Jess made the leap into breakfast television as TODAY’s Brisbane reporter.
These breakfast roles are some of the most challenging in our network. Sleep deprivation, live television, breaking news and high adrenaline assignments are daily fare. Jess threw herself into it all and thrived.
In 2022, she returned to 9 NEWS Queensland as a senior reporter in our award-winning Brisbane team and has continued to perform at an exceptional level in another ratings-winning year.
She will start in London in February, replacing Carrie-Anne Greenbank who is returning to 9 NEWS Melbourne after an outstanding term in the bureau.
