Peter Hitchener 50 Years at Nine – A special boardroom lunch was held today at the studios of Nine Melbourne to commemorate Peter Hitchener’s 50 years at Nine.
‘Hitch’, as he is affectionately known, has been the face of 9News weeknight broadcasts since 1998.
In 2024, Hitch will bring his expertise and charisma to the weekend bulletins, while weeknights will now be hosted by Alicia Loxley and Tom Steinfort.
