Vera on ABC – The apparent suicide of a scandal hit television personality, sees DCI Vera Stanhope (Brenda Blethyn) commanded by her boss to take on the case. Not only a high profile death, it’s on Holy Island – her stomping ground.
Vera soon works out that this death is murder. Our victim had been attending a reunion with old friends, a ritual they have all stayed true to for over forty years.
Had one of those at the reunion been holding a grudge for all these years and finally snapped? Is the death related to the scandal? Greed? Or, is it something more obscure?
