Top End Bub on ABC and ABC iview S1E5 – Lauren pulls a sickie to find Taya’s father on Tiwi much to Daffy’s concern, while Ned, Taya and Trevor help a panicking Leroy put on a great show for the local footy fundraiser.
It’s the day of the much anticipated footy fundraiser and Lauren pretends to be sick so that she can sneak away to Tiwi to look for Taya’s biological father. Daffy smells a rat and follows her to the ferry.
Back on the mainland, Ned’s under pressure at the fundraiser to feed the crowds. Taya has a bright idea
and Ned realises the true weight of Taya’s grief over her mum’s death.
Meanwhile, Daffy privately worries that her daughter is putting everything on the line.
