When Taya finds herself in hot water at school after hitting a classmate, Lauren and Ned take very different views on the incident and their very disparate parenting styles are laid bare.
Meanwhile, Ned is inspired and makes a business proposal to Daffy and Trevor. Suddenly, he can see a future in the Top End, and he and Taya grow closer.
Feeling alienated from Ned, Lauren decides to make an uneasy deal with Cowboy.
