Tonight | Shakespeare and Hathaway on ABC TV – The oddly-matched Stratford-upon-Avon-based sleuths return for more picturesque and whimsical mysteries brimming with wit and rural charm.
In the first episode, Spider (Darren Evans) calls upon Frank (Mark Benton) and Lu’s (Jo Joyner) expertise at his new workplace when Forosa tech company, run by Bertie, (Jonno Davies) comes under attack.
With a new app launch only days away, the PIs work fast and soon discover there’s a mole in the company that needs flushing out.
Meanwhile, they also need to help Spider win the woman of his dreams – coder, Helena (Naomi Yang).
The rest of the Forosa team – owner Bertie, his dad Jacob (Charles Dale) and coding genius Dean (Arthur Hughes) are rocked by the revelations that follow – but the unmasking of the mole is not the end of the story as things take a deadly turn.
Helena becomes prime suspect in a murder at the company, but Spider is adamant of her innocence and persuades Frank and Lu to reinvestigate.
