Portrait Artist of the Year on ABC and ABC iview S1E5 – Portrait Artist of the Year brings together talented artists from across Australia to compete for a prestigious commission.
In this heat, nine artists have four hours to create a portrait of a celebrity sitter: Paralympian Madison de Rozario OAM, TV & radio host Amanda Keller OAM, and actor and comedian Matt Okine who each bringing a personal object to inspire the artists.
The artists use a range of techniques and mediums, from electrical tape to painting on wood, as they strive to capture the essence of their sitter.
