Darby & Joan on ABC – En route to a remote bush camping ground, Rebecca’s (Anna McGahan) sudden arrival throws Joan into turmoil as she struggles with how to tell her daughter about the murder charges against Ian.
The pursuit of Ian’s last movements is temporarily put on hold when a young, neurodivergent Indigenous boy goes missing and the search becomes a potential abduction investigation.
Rebecca is determined to bring her mother back to London and begins to question Joan’s wellbeing after she repeatedly sees an ethereal presence. But is Joan ready to go home?
