Austin on ABC and ABC iview S2E7 – Austin follows a rom-com manual to woo Haley, Ingrid flirts with Big Bear, and a kiss leads to disaster when the bear head comes off—literally.
In search of answers, or at least a shortcut, Austin walks into a local bookshop and asks for a guide to love. Odin, the bookseller, declares that love is a lie – but still hands Austin a second-hand copy of Mastering the Romantic Comedy. Austin is inspired.
He reads the book like scripture, diagnosing his “meetcute” with Haley and plotting their romantic arc with clinical precision. Unfortunately, reality doesn’t follow the genre beats. His earnest message is rejected. Haley still has a boyfriend.
Meanwhile, Ingrid continues bonding with Big Bear. Their rehearsals are full of nuanced movement, shared trail mix, and the rising threat of attraction. Ingrid, confused and exhilarated, begins to suspect she may be falling in love with a man in a bear suit.
