The ABC is on hand to usher in some Christmas cheer with a slew of festive Christmas specials across ABC TV, ABC TV Plus, ABC Kids and ABC iview.

Gardening Australia will bring good tidings with the Gardening Australia Christmas special on Friday, 16^th December at 7.30pm, featuring a flora inspired Christmas carol, garden ideas for the holiday season and a Christmas spin on a traditional treat.

Make merry with a Christmas crossover in Mad As Hell Does Hard Quiz on Wednesday, 21^st December at 8pm. Watch as Tom Gleeson performs a Christmas miracle by reuniting Shaun Micallef’s erstwhile comrades and pits them against each other for the glory of the Big Brass Mug.

In a Compass Christmas event, Christmas Cabaret will premiere Tuesday, 20^th December at 9.30pm. Hosted by Nazeem Hussain, the one-hour special will feature a line up of multi-faith comedians plus special guests including Paul Kelly & Kate Miller-Heidke.

For the littlies, the cadets on Kangaroo Beach are back for an action-packed Christmas adventure full of sun, sand and surf in Kangaroo Beach’s Hoppy Christmas Special, premiering Monday, 5 December at 5.10pm on ABC Kids and ABC iview.

Guaranteed to kick start the holiday season with a bang, tune into Would I Lie To You? At Christmas, premiering Wednesday 21^st December at 9.30pm and Doc Martin Christmas special on Monday, 26^th December at 7.30pm.
