The Family Next Door sets new ABC iview record – Suburban mystery series The Family Next Door is the fastest-growing commissioned drama premiere on the ABC iview streaming platform of all time.
Episode one of The Family Next Door recorded the strongest week-one performance on ABC iview for a commissioned drama with an average audience of 336,000 in seven days, which has continued to grow to nearly 500,000 to date. Episode one has now consolidated to over 1,400,000.
The Family Next Door is the latest homegrown hit on the ABC’s scripted slate alongside award-winning titles The Newsreader, Return to Paradise, Bay of Fires, Total Control and Mystery Road, reinforcing the ABC’s reputation as the home of Australian drama.
