Miss Austen on ABC and ABC iview S1E2 – Miss Austen is a 4 part drama series based on the novel by Gill Hornby and follows the story of Cassandra, Jane Austen’s lesser-known sister.
Pivoting between earlier and later years of Cassandra’s life, the series centres around the literary mystery of Cassandra notoriously burning her famous sister Jane’s letters.
Over four episodes it is a reimagination of a fascinating, witty and heart-breaking story of sisterly love, while creating in Cassandra a character as captivating as any Austen heroine. Starring Keeley Hawes as Cassandra Austen.
