Marc Fennell returns with a new podcast for Radio National and ABC listen – Walkley award-winning journalist and broadcaster Marc Fennell (Stuff the British Stole) returns to Radio National and ABC listen on Tuesday 8 April with a stellar new weekly history mystery series, No One Saw It Coming.
The series sees Marc embark on a new hunt for the events, people, objects and accidents that changed our world but, at the time, well, no one saw it coming. As Marc says: “The inconsiderate thing about history is that you usually can’t tell that it’s being made while it’s happening.”
Each episode, Marc will be joined by a different guest, and together they will unravel a surprise chapter of history. Expect all kinds of tales, from technology, art, medieval, military, fashion, and even culinary history. It’s all on the table.
Marc Fennell said:
“I’ve been wanting to create a series like this for years and already our first few episodes’ veer from the heartbreaking to the absurd. The past is a truly weird place. Thank God we moved on.”
Discover new episodes of No One Saw It Coming, every Tuesday on the ABC listen app. Hear it on Radio National, Tuesdays at 11.30am and on Sundays at 4pm.
