Flower & Flour on ABC Kids delightful new duo – The ABC is thrilled to announce Flower & Flour, a brand new animated series from Cheeky Little Media and Sinking Ship Entertainment, will premiere at 7:45am on Monday 16 March on ABC Kids and ABC iview.
Featuring the voices of Simone Kessell, Rachel House, Nazeem Hussain, Rob Shehadie, Jacek Koman and Angela Tran, Flower & Flour is a laugh-out-loud buddy comedy celebrating friendship, family and the magic of community. Created by Dan Mansour, the series is inspired by the childhoods of Dan and his wife, who grew up in Western Sydney.
Flower is a curious seven-year-old with a giant imagination and an even bigger heart. She lives above her parents’ bustling Austrian dumpling restaurant in the middle of a multicultural neighbourhood. And right by her side is her best friend Flour, a cheeky cat made of flour.
Inside the restaurant and at home, Flower and Flour spin the ordinary into the extraordinary – a spring clean with Mum and Dad becomes a quest with castles and knights, a sleepy bedtime story is hijacked by Flower’s imagination, and a rainy afternoon transforms into a mission to fix the sky. Step outside into the plaza and the adventures grow even bigger. From helping Unicorn Cuzzy recover her fading unicorn powers, to staging an epic soccer match worthy of the World Cup.
Flower & Flour shows kids that wonder is waiting right outside their door, and that life is brighter and funnier when we share it with each other.
