Bluey on ABC ratings – Australia’s #1 Children’s TV series, Bluey, returned with a bang on Sunday with the new season 3 episode setting an overnight launch record for the program on the ABC Kids channel.
The newest Bluey episode, ‘Cubby’, delivered an incredible overnight Total Audience of 1,498,000 making it the highest overnight premiere achieved by any Bluey episode since its inception in 2018.*
The total audience breakdown includes 866,000 overnight average audience (metro + regional) achieved by the morning premiere on broadcast, with another 149,000 watching the evening encore, and a 483,000 iview VPM. This VPM result is the highest launch VPM for any Bluey episode ever!
In addition, ‘Cubby’ set an ABC Kids broadcast channel record for the highest audience from any single broadcast dating back to 2008 when OzTAM began measuring ratings.*

New episodes of Bluey Series 3 continue weekly on Sundays at 8am and 6.20pm on ABC Kids and ABC iview until Sunday June 4th.

Bluey takes the day-to-day events of family life, like making a cubby house and a trip to the beach, and turns them into unique gameplay, creating idiosyncratic adventures out of everyday moments.
