ABC puts the audience first in Your Say Forums – The ABC will delve deep into the issues Australians care about most in the lead up to the federal election across a series of national You Say Forums, commencing Wednesday 9 April at 3pm AEST on ABC Radio and ABC News Channel.
The 55 minute special forums will break down the issues, questions and concerns submitted by Australians via the ABC Your Say project.
The Your Say project gives all Australians an opportunity to have their voice heard in the national conversation. To date, the vision for Australia’s energy transition, power bills, housing stress and the future of the US alliance are of most concern.
The first of three Your Say forums will be hosted by ABC Radio Melbourne’s Drive presenter Ali Moore. Your Say: Powering Australia will break down the major parties’ energy policies and present the facts from some of the country’s leading experts. The forum will be politician free and include questions and comments from Your Say submissions.
Your Say forums include:
Wednesday 16 April – Your Say: Housing Australia, hosted by ABC Radio Brisbane’s Drive presenter Ellen Fanning.
Wednesday 30 April – Your Say: Future Australia, hosted by ABC Radio Sydney’s Mornings presenter Hamish Macdonald.
The Your Say forums will simulcast nationally across all local ABC Radio stations and ABC News Channel from 3pm AEST. ABC Radio nationally will continue the conversation from 4pm AEST, giving Australians the opportunity to connect with their local community.
Catch all the campaign coverage and federal election updates via the ABC NEWS website and app, ABC TV, ABC iview, ABC NEWS channel, ABC listen and ABC Radio.
